What's Our Plan?
The ecosystem surrounding Royal Lake is a natural treasure we need to protect!
Focus Areas: Trails, stormwater issues, invasive management, recreation issues, and wildlife issues
The FORL, in our role of advocating for the Fairfax County Parks around Royal Lake, have developed several key documents that highlight the community's desire to maintain and enhance both Lakeside Park and Royal Lake Park. As such, FORL has developed a Royal Lake Community Vision Plan, Royal Lake Proposed Upgrades and Enhancements List (Capital Improvements and Maintenance), and a FORL Priority List for Capital Improvements for the Royal Lake Parks. All of these documents have been vetted by the communities around Royal Lake and have been presented to the FCPA leadership. Each document will be updated periodically and as projects are completed and new needs arise.
